Re-cycled record

 A birthday card for our Grandson who is singer & guitarist in a band called (sRs). 
Jak is 12 and a fantastic vocalist.
 I had this special card in my mind.... well I found these old vinyl records in charity shop, so decided to make use of one for this occasion.

I put together a collage pic. of the band along with other digital images and a little greeting all done in Microsoft Publisher then printed this off onto sticker paper.
 

 

  A whole new life for this little record!

 

 

And on the flip side is the verse.

 

Now am off to make the sleeve and stand for this project.

'Our Netty' door sign

 

My Daughter is opening another salon and

I have been asked to make her signs for the shop with the brief

"French Chic"

 

On with my thinking cap and this is what I came up with......

In the northeast of England the Toilet was always called "The Netty" so she liked that idea.

 

The little chandelier I used fits the bill I think then  I added some crystals for a bit of bling.

Sending Butterfly Hugs! I made these little note cards for any occasion.

It's just a mason jar image with little butterfly images added to it and a little tag tied with twine. Quick and easy. A great gift idea.

Golden Wedding Book Card

 Front and back cover of this little Book Card made for a 50th Wedding anniversary. I covered some heavy card with my vintage music sheet paper and then applied the printed tissue paper on top of this and varnished it to made it durable.

I have used an old clock image as the focal point of the front cover and made some pointers and fixed these to the clock with a pearl brad..  I added a little tag saying "simple moments make great Memories" at the bottom and then sprayed this with Cosmic Shimmer in Bronze Blush to give it some age. Then as you can see I have added some swirls and flower embellishment's and also a little hat pin.

Inside the book I have added three aged pages, one with a letter print, the middle one is a blank page so my customer can ad her own greeting and the top page as you can see has the verse and a little Cherub with two wedding rings image on the opposite page.

 



This is the little box I have made to put the card into. I have kept the theme the same as the card on the top of the box.
