Christmas Book cards

These are lovely cards to give out for Christmas to a special person.
I have used Basic Grey Jovial papers on the cover of the book and inside.
A sneak peek inside and there I have added the poinsettia flower and a tiny little shopping bag.
                                                       Room for the personal greeting.

Christmas Sleigh

This is a lovely template from Creations by AR
This is an ongoing project but couldn't wait to post the beginnings of it.
I will add to it and post the completed version. I used tiny doll house bags and boxes to fill the sleigh.
No mean feat making those, but made them nevertheless.
My inspiration came from Floliescrap, one of my favourite bloggers. Go check out her blog! Its amazing.

Bye for now.

Duo Challenge # 11 Christmas Pillow Pocket

This is a lovely template for the Duo-Challenge # 11
It's just the cutest pillow box for hanging on the tree with candy inside.

I chose not to cut out the tree shape window from the front of the box, but decided to make a 3D tree. I printed out two Penny Black Christmas star stamps and decoupaged them for the front of the pillow.  Some twine is used to hang the box up. I also chose to decorate the box on the reverse side to accomodate my poinsetta.

CR84FN#43 - Christmas Wreath.

My Christmas card for the latest Colour Challenge. The Wreath is an image from Graphics Fairy as is the background music paper. There are 3 colours of this wreath to choose from, this one is brown. I have used foam pads to make the wreath pop out but not too clear on the picture. I used a tan linen texture for the main background paper and the green and brown ribbon from my stash of seam binding. My buttons are a mix of dark tan wood and pearl. Sorry if my photo is not too clear!

AR.Haute Christmas Tote

Of all my templates from Creations from AR this has got to be
my favourite. I love the way it just goes together with very little effort.
This one I may use to store my sweet stash for the big day. Or maybe I will relent
and give it to someone special, filled up with goodies!

Get Well wishes

A very good friend underwent a Hip Replacement Monday.
Here is the card I created to try to make him feel a bit better. As you can see my sense of humour ran riot a tad with this one. Inside the little bag are old rusty screws, washers and some string, a plaster, or in America, a bandaid, and not least a rubber band.
Oh Trevor I couldn't help myself. Sorry Lol!

This cute little gift bag I got from here Pop over there to get the free template. Thankyou Mel! It's fun to make and is quite large so it can be filled with toiletries etc.

Lest We Forget!

As it's Remembrance day soon I have made my own tribute card to those who have given their lives so that we may live in Peace. God Bless you All. My prayer is that their sacrifice is not given in vain.

Bloggers Challenge - Sketch Challenge- Lisa Somerville

This card has been made for a customer who's daughter has her birthday early December.
I thought I would try out the Bloggers Sketch over at Designs at Lisa Somerville  on the front cover of my 'Book Card'. I had to alter it slightly to accomodate the cover, so hope I have been successful with that. The ribbon I used is the old fav. seam binding and is used to fasten the book closed. I made a bookmark using another image from the same set for the name of the sender to be added on the reverse side. The roses are deep burgundy and pick out the colours on the papers.
