New Baby Girl Shoe

Pretty in pink. Another new baby girl Exploding box.

A tiny little white shoe made with embossed daisy print card. I added some mulberry paper flowers and trimmed all round with daisy ribbon. On all the sides of this box are little girly embelishments and around the main box, the rhyme "What are little girls made of".
The pretty rose print paper is from  http://jakheath.com  . There is a little tag with a silver charm attatched to complete the "Gift" box.

Makeover Monday Challenge #11

My version of the challenge was to make a gift box.
I used the front cover of a K&Co paper pad' Madeline' I had left over and didn't want to throw away.
Fortunately it had a border down the left side so I just cut the scrap to size and used it for the top of my box.
Then I added a satin ribbon trim at the left side and framed a 'Just for You' sentiment. Then came the cream roses to give dimention at the corner.
Inside the surprise exploding box I had enough room to tuck in some lovely fridge magnets.

Duo Challenge # 13

I made this Desktop Organiser Book using the Duo Challenge template - To Do List and Calendar.
Little pockets on both sides of the book covers make perfect storage for things we need like, stamps, paper clips etc. keeping everything to hand.

And finally, the Book is closed up and keeps everything inside neat and tidy.

A Daughter's lovely gift.

This lovely Bracelet and ring was hand made by my daughter. It is copper and seems to work to ease the pains in my wrist. She is waiting to go onto a silver smithing course so  "Hope to get another gift soon Tracy" lol.

'Elegant' Friend Birthday Card

'Make a wish' dandelion digi paper is used here. It's so light and delicate.
With a co-ordinating spot paper that forms a pocket at the bottom for the greetings tag
to be slipped inside. Edged with my Martha Stewart lace punch, and some cream lace underneath to add interest. Adorned with Mulberry flowers and tiny baby buttons.

Man's Golfing Birthday

I love this vintage golfing Ad pic. I was asked to make this for a friend's husband who is golf mad!
I added the little tag that says.....Husband Lover Friend- You are my everything. Also tucked on there is a miniature golf club.

Vintage Notebook.

Another Vintage style Notebook, this time with Prima flowers and a little Vintage Luggage tag attached, on which you can add the name of the lucky recipient.

A View inside.

Vintage Pillow/Cushion

Wow! I seem to be in a sewing mode at the moment. I had this image from www.stampindamour.com and http://freevintagedigistamps.blogspot.com love the background to this image and thought it cried out to be printed onto fabric for a little pillow for the bedroom. I just added lace and tape to the calico and popped on some pearl buttons and a black bow to add dimention.
Right, now back to my cards.                      Bye for now.         Enjoy your Sunday!

Altered Art! Gift box

From a boring old Choc box...............

To this lovely gift box for cards or a little pressy.
On the top of the box I stamped the image onto calico and then padded the whole thing and wrapped some vintage lace. On the bow I pinned a silver heart shaped locket and little key, then used a prima flower with pearl button.

I think I may make a set of small cards to pop inside along with some envelopes to give as a gift.

Notebooks

A handy wall hanging shopping list note book with pencil.

This little 'suitcase' notebook is covered with 'snakeskin' paper.

Inside the notelet and pencil all ready for use. I love having these to hand to give out as little gifts in case I forgot someone's birthday.

Post it notebook re-vamped

This is another little 'Post-it' notebook given a makeover.
A nice little inexpesive, useful quickie gift to pop in with a card for a teacher, friend or work colleague. Perfect, as we all seem to have to look after the pennies in this day and age.

Man's Get well card.

Making cards for men is a bit of a nightmare! However I came across this Image in my stash of digitals that somehow got misplaced. I also used two different fonts to say what I wanted to say on the front of this get well card. It's not too fussy so perfect for a man.

Wedding Cake Keepsake 'Card'

A tiny silver horseshoe for good luck is tucked into the corner just visible.

A tumble of ivory and white flowers decorate this cake card.
Two entwined siver wedding rings sit on the top tier.

I made this little 'Cake' keepsake for a lovely couple getting married in May this year. As I am at the
moment, making their invitations I took a little time out to get their card ready, just in case, as I have another wedding on the go for this year too.
Now for the box to put it into. Bye for now.
