My Daughter is opening another salon and

I have been asked to make her signs for the shop with the brief

"French Chic"

 

On with my thinking cap and this is what I came up with......

In the northeast of England the Toilet was always called "The Netty" so she liked that idea.

 

The little chandelier I used fits the bill I think then  I added some crystals for a bit of bling.

Sending Butterfly Hugs! I made these little note cards for any occasion.

It's just a mason jar image with little butterfly images added to it and a little tag tied with twine. Quick and easy. A great gift idea.

Golden Wedding Book Card

 Front and back cover of this little Book Card made for a 50th Wedding anniversary. I covered some heavy card with my vintage music sheet paper and then applied the printed tissue paper on top of this and varnished it to made it durable.

I have used an old clock image as the focal point of the front cover and made some pointers and fixed these to the clock with a pearl brad..  I added a little tag saying "simple moments make great Memories" at the bottom and then sprayed this with Cosmic Shimmer in Bronze Blush to give it some age. Then as you can see I have added some swirls and flower embellishment's and also a little hat pin.

Inside the book I have added three aged pages, one with a letter print, the middle one is a blank page so my customer can ad her own greeting and the top page as you can see has the verse and a little Cherub with two wedding rings image on the opposite page.

 



This is the little box I have made to put the card into. I have kept the theme the same as the card on the top of the box.

Brag Monday #184 for Graphicsfairy..... Vintage Knobs.....

 

 

Six little updated drawer knobs.

 



I had fun yesterday decorating some old wooden knobs to give them a new lease of life.

The images are from Graphics Fairy as usual.

I made the little stickers on my laptop using Microsoft Publisher.

I think they look fab and will now cheer up my old dresser.

Moo-ving Home Card

 

 

I made this humorous little pop-up card for Moo-ving home. I included a little tag with the new address. The whole thing folds flat to go into the envy.I think the little cow looks cute peeking out.

I just love little cows and couldn't miss this opportunity to let my sense of humour run riot.

Baby Girl gift "cupcake socks"

Hi there,

 

I think these little gifts are just the ticket.  Made with a tiny little  pair of socks, so cute to give a new mum and baby. Inexpensive too, but makes the gift look unique. Easy to do too. The little cupcake box is from Blackleaf Studios blog. I downloaded this freebie a long time ago, think maybe 2011 so not sure if it is still available. I may have to design a freebie template for you this coming week..... hold the phone lol! I will give it a whirl.

Faux Book Card.. Daughter's 30th Birthday

 Hi there, I thought I would let
you see my latest Faux Book card I have made to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday in April.

I made this with thick card and covered this first with patterned paper on both sides..

 On the spine I reinforced it and then added some brads and raised up cardboard strips to give some interest.

I used the top layer of this serviette to decorate.

The tissue is added and looks like crinkled
leather when dry.
