French shabby sign I made using the reverse printing method and modge podge direct onto the wood.
After its dry you wet it slightly and rub off the paper...leaving (hopefully) the image. this method I love so much . The Graphics Fairy again supplied the image. Many many thanks to her.
This is probably one of my favourite's so far .

After making the invitations for this wedding, the bride asked me to make a sign
to point the guests to her reception...here it is. I decided to make the back a sign so that she can use it later in her home.
A lovely keepsake and she was thrilled.
I have been so busy lately and neglected my little humble blog hope my readers forgive me.
Had 2 visits to my daughters in a matter of months...the first for the birth of our grandson Jaxon and stayed until the new year. Then I went back on my own to lend a helping hand whilst our Son-in-law was away from the family for a few months doing his duty in the Marines. Had a blast but now back to my little home business crafting and trying to sell haha.

An Ivory card for a little girl's Christening day. I used Satin ribbon and added a little buckle. A simple design with Gold Font.
I found this poem on the internet and thought it was so cute. I hand made a little soft bracelet to tie around her wrist on her special day.
Then I had to make a Boutonniere for a little boy's Christening day too. A similar poem suited for him.

I have made this cute little box card for my Aunt who is 86 in May.
She loves yellow roses so thought I might make this box card from a template by Rica's Haven
She gives all the measurements to make this cute card so pop along to her blog.
I added some printed pages to the inside of the box sides as I wanted it mainly to be white with a touch of vintage. Added a lace border on two sides just visible.
By for now Hugs Vee xx

This is my Granddaughter's School Scrapbook page I have been asked to do.
Last year the Head charged me with putting together a school scrapbook to keep safe all the achievements the children and indeed the whole school have reached.
This page was dedicated to the Centenary Celebrations held in school to look back over the past ten decades.
All the younger children were dressed in the present decade, and the older ones dressed in a decade from when the school was first opened. They then all "buddied" up together to have a history lesson covering huge events such as the sinking of the Titanic, the launch of silent movies, to music of the '20s.
The Head said later, he thought this event had sparked a greater interest in history. The children were actually asking more about historic events which can only be a good thing.
Past pupils were all invited to join in too, the oldest being 76 yrs old.
Well done all who participated.
Bye for now.
