School Scrapbook page

This is my Granddaughter's School Scrapbook page I have been asked to do.
Last year the Head charged me with putting together a school scrapbook to keep safe all the achievements the children and indeed the whole school have reached.

This page was dedicated to the Centenary Celebrations held in school to look back over the past ten decades.

All the younger children were dressed in the present decade, and the older ones dressed in a decade  from when the school was first opened. They then all "buddied" up together to have a history lesson covering huge events such as the sinking of the Titanic, the launch of silent movies, to music of the '20s.
The Head said later, he thought this event had sparked a greater interest in history. The children were actually asking more about historic events which can only be a good thing.
Past pupils were all invited to join in too, the oldest being 76 yrs old.

Well done all who participated.
Bye for now.
